Summer Sips Series – Mango Granita

Mangos are such a staple summer fruit and we have this fruit used in cocktail form…created for you and yours to cool off with! Our Mango Granita, is like a combination between a sorbet & shaved ice. You can use this bright and fun icy goodness as a palate cleanser between meals, or twist it into a patio drink in a flash! Add your favorite liquid and make it refreshing and easy to sip. Make this recipe kid-friendly for your littles, or create some fun for the adults with the ultimate sophisticated slushie this long weekend! 

Sip, sip, away!

MANGO GRANITA
[Serves 4]

4 large ripe sweet Mangos
1 cup Water
2 tbsp Local Honey
4 skewers
4 sprigs of Mint

Directions:

Peel and cut mangos, placing aside 4 mango cubes.

Place cut mangos, water, and honey in blender and blend until smooth.

Place into a shallow pan and freeze for 4 hours.

Scrape frozen mango puree with a metal spoon into cups.

Garnish with mint and skewered mango cubes.

White Table Tip: to make this into a drink form, add soda water or prosecco for the perfect sip!
